Event Description

It’s been 25 years since Carlo Petrini and a group of activists launched a peaceful revolution to defend regional traditions, good food, gastronomic pleasure and a slow pace of life. The Slow Food movement has since evolved into a comprehensive approach to food that recognizes the strong connections between plate, planet, people, politics and culture. Today, this movement involves thousands of projects and millions of people in more than 160 countries worldwide.

Join us for a dialogue between Slow Food’s founder, Carlo Petrini, and locavore activist Alice Waters, as they reflect on the evolution of the food movement and all things Slow.
